Finance ministry: Russia may offer Eurobonds in May–June
LONDON, Apr 7 (PRIME) – Russia plans to offer Eurobonds in May–June, Konstantin Vyshkovsky, director of the Finance Ministry’s state debt and state financial assets department, told reporters on Friday.
“It will not happen before May definitely, probably in the first half of the year,” he said.
The Russian budget envisages placement of up to U.S. $7 billion Eurobonds in 2017. The Finance Ministry said earlier it planned to offer $3 billion worth of new securities and to swap $4 billion worth of the securities in circulation for new issues.
